By accessing or using cisoAI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

cisoAI provides automated security monitoring, risk assessment, and compliance documentation services for small businesses. The Service includes workspace security scanning, external security assessments, AI-powered guidance, and Proof of Protection documentation.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be authorized to connect your organization's workspace
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized account access

4. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable subscription fees
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • 14-day free trial for new accounts (no credit card required)

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Use the Service to scan systems you don't own or have permission to scan
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Workspace Access

When you connect your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, you grant us permission to access specific data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time through your workspace admin settings or by disconnecting the integration within cisoAI.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by cisoAI and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data; we only use it to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL IDENTIFY ALL SECURITY VULNERABILITIES OR PREVENT ALL SECURITY INCIDENTS. THE SERVICE IS A TOOL TO ASSIST WITH SECURITY MONITORING, NOT A GUARANTEE OF SECURITY.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CISOAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless cisoAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
